The room needs an urgent update. it felt dated and overpriced. The fluctuating hot tub temperature spoiled what could have been a relaxing experience. Moreover, the steep and winding roads leading to Shelter Cove were exhausting after a long journey. It was incredibly frustrating trying to unwind in an outdated room.

stunning views but dated furnishings
The King Room with Sea View offered expansive space and a beautiful balcony that provided breathtaking views of the ocean, especially at sunset. I appreciated having a kitchenette equipped with a fridge and microwave, which made it easy to prepare light meals. The on-site cafe served excellent coffee and food, adding to the convenience and enjoyment of my stay.

The Deluxe Suite with Spa Bath had an amazing in-suite hot tub and sauna, perfect for relaxation. The surprise champagne and handwritten note made our anniversary even more special. The convenience of the on-site pizza restaurant and coffee shop was a huge plus for our stay.
Nothing negative to note from our visit.

Stunning views and cozy vibes
We had such an incredible 3-night stay! The view from our balcony was like nothing I've ever seen, especially during sunset. Oh, and the cafe on-site made for a great breakfast spot with yummy coffee. The place is a bit dated, but honestly, it adds to the charm. Just wish the sound from neighbors wasn’t so noticeable at times.

Had an incredible time soaking in the in-suite hot tub while enjoying the ocean view. The surprise champagne was such a sweet touch! I loved relaxing at the sun terrace and unwinding in the sauna after a long day. A minor downside was the slightly tricky check-out process, but overall, it didn’t ruin our wonderful experience—definitely make time to enjoy the on-site coffee shop! 🍾

Had an amazing time with friends at this spot. It was the perfect base for exploring the rugged coastline. We hiked on the Lost Coast and even checked out the stunning Gale Point. The nine-hole golf course nearby was fun too! Bring food for picnics, as dining options are a bit limited.
One downside was that some of the furnishings felt dated and could definitely use an upgrade to match the price point.

The room’s furnishings urgently need an update to align with their premium pricing—definitely felt dated. The hot tub's temperature control was inconsistent, which detracted from what could be a relaxing experience. Also, the location's access roads are steep and winding, making the drive a bit challenging, especially when you're tired from a long journey.

Recommend it for couples seeking relaxation
The view from our Beautiful Suite was amazing! We could hear the waves crashing as we soaked in the hot tub, which was exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking.
Yes, it wasn't inexpensive, but considering the fine experience, it felt acceptable.

The stunning ocean view from the King Room created an unforgettable romantic atmosphere. Sipping local coffee each morning while basking in the breathtaking landscape was a highlight. Although the location is a bit remote, it’s peaceful and perfect for a getaway. However, the sound from neighboring rooms could be a bit intrusive, and the coffee shop had limited hours that made planning tricky. Also, the Wi-Fi connection was spotty at times, which was inconvenient for those needing to stay connected.
